As MLK day is upon us tomorrow and Black History Month is coming in February the Nike company and its other brands i.e Converse and Air Jordan have released a pack to celebrate this important month. Because Nike is an athletics company each shoe commemorates sports figures ( with the exception of the Air Force 1), Nike pays tribute to Dr. J (with the Converse Star Player EVO) for unifying the NBA and ABA, Nike Zoom Kobe VI represents Kobe’s unbelievable 81-point game in 2006, Michael Jordan is represented by the Air Jordan 3 for hie-throw line in 1987.
